40-Year-Old Dustin Garcia Killed In Hawley, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, March 2 at around 6:30 AM in Hawley, Texas. 40-year-old Dustin Garcia was sadly killed in a collision along Highway 277. Mr. Garcia apparently drove over a mattress that came off the back of a pick up truck and landed in the outside lane of traffic. Subsequently, he lost control of his vehicle and it struck a guard rail, spinning several times before coming to rest on the highway. Seconds later, a Volvo tractor trailer crashed into Mr. Garcia's vehicle. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
