41-Year-Old Erin Moore Killed In Sparta, NJ Accident

Tragic taccident that occurred on Sunday, January 30th in Sparta, New Jersey. 41-year-old Erin Moore was tragically killed in a two-vehicle collision on Route 181. Moore was driving a blue Hyundai Tucson south when a sedan driven by a 41-year-old man traveled into the southbound lane, where it struck Moore's vehicle head-on. Sparta Fire Department first responders freed Moore from her vehicle using Jaws of Life; she was then transported to Newton Medical Center, where she tragically later died. Sparta Detective Bureau and the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office are now leading the investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
