Tragic accident that occurred on March 21st in Trussville, Alabama. 42-year-old Roy Melton Jr. tragically was killed in a two-vehicle crash with a tractor on Interstate 59. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a 1998 Chevrolet S10 driven by 47-year-old Clifton J. Cottingham skidded off the road and struck the rear of a 2020 Freightliner tractor-trailer that was parked on the emergency shoulder. Melton Jr. sustained fatal injuries and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
