44-Year-Old Jose Banales Injured In Selah, WA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, May 24 at around 7 PM in Selah, Washington. 44-year-old Jose Banales was injured when his vehicle was struck by a car making an unsafe lane change on State Route 823. He was hit by a Ford Escort driven by 25-year-old Julian Armas. Armas made an unsafe lane change, lost control, and hit the victims vehicle. He was transported to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
