44-Year-Old Melisa Taylor Injured In Wayne Township, OH Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, March 27 at around 8:38 AM in Wayne Township, Ohio. 44-year-old Melisa Taylor was seriously injured in a crash on Ohio 3 at County Road 78. Taylor was traveling in a vehicle driven by Rodney Roper, when he disregarded a stop sign when entering the intersection.  65-year-old Douglas Arnold was unable to avoid the vehicle, and a collision occurred. Arnold sadly died from injuries sustained in the crash. Preliminary information indicates that drugs may have been a contributing factor in the crash. Melisa, a front seat passenger in Roper’s car, was transported via life flight to Akron City Hospital with serious injuries. we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
