46-Year-Old Mark Morris Killed In Fayetteville, NC AccidentHit and run on Carlson Bay CirclePosted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on October 28 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. 46-year-old Mark Morris was tragically killed by an allegedly speeding teenager while walking across a parking lot in the 3500 block of Carlson Bay Circle. Police said the driver of the Nissan, who was traveling at an excessive speed, fled the scene after the collision.nMorris was rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center by ambulance. Sadly, he died shortly after. An 18-year-old woman was later arrested after a damaged vehicle was located in her mother’s backyard. She was charged with felony hit-and-run causing serious injury and misdemeanor death by vehicle. The suspect is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on $20,000 secured bond.
