The crash occurred when a speeding Chevy Malibu slammed into a stopped vehicle at a red light. The crash triggered a chain reaction damaging four vehicles in total. The driver of the Malibu fled the scene. Ms. Souken was taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The accident is under investigation by the Washington State patrol.
