47-Year-Old Galen Joseph Hunter Injured In Hudson, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, Decemeber 22nd, in Hudson, New York. 47-year-old Galen Joseph Hunter was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup truck while in a crosswalk on Warren Street and Park Place.The victim was struck by a Dodge Ram driven by 45-year-old James C. Rankin. Hunter was taken to Columbia Memorial for treatment of her injuries. Rankin told police that he was blinded by the sun and did not see Hunter in the crosswalk. He was ticketed by police for failure to yield the right of way in a crosswalk. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
