47-Year-Old Garfield Elliot Killed In Monroe, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 1st in Monroe, New York. 47-year-old Garfield Elliot lost his life when he was hit by a vehicle along New York State Route 17. Elliot was driving when he was involved in a crash with another vehicle. Elliot subsequently got out of his vehicle, stepped into the roadway, and was struck by an eastbound Volkswagen.  Tragically, Elliot died at the scene. Additional details were not immediately provided as state police continue to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
