47-Year-Old Sonny Johnson Killed In Forth Worth, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 5 in Fort Worth, Texas. 47-year-old Sonny Johnson lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 35W. Johnson died due to injuries sustained in the crash. Johnson stopped his vehicle on the median shoulder of the highway after he ran out of gas. His friend arrived with the refill, and both men stood outside of their vehicles, police said. That is when a car trying to avoid hitting a semi-truck crashed into the men. An investigation is underway by the Traffic Investigations Unit.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
