Olmsted was traveling in a Chevrolet Express van, driven by 50-year-old Matthew Kneer. That is when the vehicle left the right side of the road, went through the Syracuse International Airport fence, and crashed into a fuel tank. The victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information about the accident is being asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at (315) 442-5200.
