51-Year-Old Karen Weldon Killed In Anoka, MN Accident

Tractor trailer crash along Highway 65

Tragic accident that occurred on June 6th in Anoka, Minnesota. 51-year-old Karen Weldon lost her life when her SUV was hit by a tractor-trailer along Highway 65. A 2013 Peterbilt tractor-trailer was southbound near the intersection with 109th Avenue NE when the truck ran a red light and collided with Karen's SUV. Weldon sadly succumbed to injuries from the collision. The truck driver, a 37-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital. The Anoka County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
