Tragic accident that occurred on October 8 in Red Bank, New Jersey. 52-year-old Joseph Rego Jr. lost his life after being hit by an NJ Transit train at the Monmouth Street crossing. Joseph Rego Jr. was hit by the North Jersey Coast Line 3241, which left New York Penn Station at 12:12 p.m. and was headed to Long Branch. This is an ongoing investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
