Authorities said that Jeffery Scott attempted to pass another vehicle and hit Troia's motorcycle head-on. Troia was pronounced dead after the collision. The driver is facing charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, causing death, and operating while intoxicated third offense. A cash bond was set at $750,000. The crash remains under investigation.
