53-Year-Old Judith Morillo-Rosario Killed In Toms River, NJ Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 2 in Toms River, New Jersey.  53-year-old Judith Morillo-Rosario lost her life when a hit-and-run motorist struck her along the Garden State Parkway. Rosario was a passenger in a Jeep Wrangler when the driver stopped and she exited the vehicle. After departing the Jeep she was struck by a southbound motorist who subsequently fled the scene.  Morillo-Rosario was sadly declared deceased at the scene.  Authorities determined the 66-year-old man driving the Jeep was impaired and charged him with driving while intoxicated.  No update on the vehicle or driver responsible was initially provided. The incident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
