53-Year-Old Sara Vasquez Killed In Smith, TX Accident

3 teenagers also killed in the crash

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, December 28 at around 11:25 AM in Smith Texas. 53-year-old Sara Vasquez was killed, along with three teenagers when the car that they were a passenger in failed to yield the right of way and drove into the path of another truck. 26-year-old Juan Villanueva was driving a pick up truck when he struck John Wilkins between Kilgore and Tyler in Smith County. A 13-year-old girl and a 15 and 17-year-old boy were killed in the crash as well. Mr. Wilkins, and Villanueva were taken to UT Health in serious condition. Miss Vazquez was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.We send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
