53-Year-Old Sara Vasquez Killed In Smith, TX Accident3 teenagers also killed in the crashPosted: 4 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Monday, December 28 at around 11:25 AM in Smith Texas. 53-year-old Sara Vasquez was killed, along with three teenagers when the car that they were a passenger in failed to yield the right of way and drove into the path of another truck. 26-year-old Juan Villanueva was driving a pick up truck when he struck John Wilkins between Kilgore and Tyler in Smith County. A 13-year-old girl and a 15 and 17-year-old boy were killed in the crash as well. Mr. Wilkins, and Villanueva were taken to UT Health in serious condition.
