53-Year-Old Sederick Barrett Killed In Houston, TX Accident

DUI crash on Westheimer Road and Potomac Drive

Tragic accident that occurred on March 27th in Houston, Texas. 53-year-old Sederick Barrett and his wife were both tragically killed in a DUI wreck on Westheimer Road and Potomac Drive.  Donovan Harris was arrested and charged after he struck the couple crossing the road while traveling about 70 mph, twice the posted speed limit. “This person was driving so fast that any impact with their vehicle would be lethal,” said HPD Sgt. David Rose. “There is no excuse for someone driving that fast.” Harris remained at the scene and showed signs of intoxication, police said. He has since been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim
