55-Year-Old Atina Parris Injured In Troy, MO Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 26th in Troy, Missouri. 55-year-old Atina Parris was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash along Highway 47. 24-year-old Alvery Hortiz was operating a Chevrolet HHR eastbound when she crossed the centerline into the path of the victims Toyota, causing the vehicles to collide. Parris suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by state troopers.
