56-Year-Old Janette Rene Collazo Killed in Lamesa, TX Accident

The incident remains under investigation

A tragic accident occurred on April 20 in Lamesa, Texas, when 56-year-old Janette Rene Collazo was struck by a vehicle while crossing the 800 block of North Bryan Avenue. The incident happened around 9 p.m. Collazo, who was in a wheelchair, was transported to Medical Arts Hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
