56-Year-old Lawanda Rigsbee Killed In Durham, NC Accident

 Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, May 21 at around 12:30 PM in Durham, North Carolina. 56-year-old Lawanda Rigsbee was tragically killed when she was struck by a transit bus at 515 West Pettigrew Street. Rigsbee was standing on the sidewalk when a GoDurham bus jumped the curb while pulling into the station. Sadly, the victim passed away at the hospital. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
