56-Year-Old Scott Ely Killed in Lubbock, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, April 13th in Lubbock, Texas. 56-year-old Scott Christopher Ely was tragically killed when he was struck by a vehicle on U.S. 84 near County Road 1700. An SUV was traveling westbound in the outside lane of travel and failed at his attempt to avoid hitting the pedestrian. The pedestrian sadly died from injuries sustained in the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
