59-Year-Old Cham Chao Injured In Rochester, MN Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 8th in Rochester, Minnesota. 59-year-old Cham Rong Chao was seriously injured when his SUV crashed after being struck by a canopy that came loose from another vehicle on U.S. Route 52. Chao was driving a Honda Pilot when a canopy came loose from a Ford F-250 in front of him. The canopy struck the Honda, causing Chao to leave the highway and go through a fence. Chao was rushed to Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary’s Campus for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
