60-Year-Old John Jones Killed In Sumter, AL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, April 25 at around 8:30 PM in Sumter, Alabama. 60-year-old John Jones was one of two people tragically killed in a collision on US 80. Mr. Jones was the passenger of a Freightliner tractor trailer that was struck by a Toyota Camry driven by 56-year-old Gail Lewis.  Both Mr. Jones and the driver were tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
