60-Year-Old Teresa Combs Injured In Alexander, NC Accident

Head on wreck on N. Carolina 16

Tragic accident that occurred on March 21st in Alexander, North Carolina. 60-year-old Teresa Combs suffered injuries in a fiery head-on accident on North Carolina 16. The driver of a Mazda fell asleep behind the wheel, crossed the centerline, ran off the road to the left, hit a guardrail, and collided head-on with a southbound 2019 Toyota Rav 4, driven by Combs.  Shortly afterward, Combs was flown to the hospital by helicopter with critical injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
