61-Year-Old Anthony Dickerson Killed In Greensboro, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 26 in Greensboro, North Carolina. 61-year-old Anthony Dickerson was fatally injured when the moped he was driving was struck by an alleged impaired motorist on J.M. Hunt Expressway. Dickerson was operating a moped southbound when a Chevrolet Corvette trailing behind failed to slow down and slammed into the back of the moped.  Upon impact, Dickerson was launched from the moped and subsequently struck by a second vehicle. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the site of the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and encourage anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
