61-Year-Old Bruce O'Neal Killed In Rock Falls, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on March 29th in Rock Falls, Illinois. 61-year-old Bruce O’Neal lost his life when his truck was hit by a driver who was fleeing from police. Rock Falls Police officers attempted to pull over a black Mercedes-Benz for a traffic violation when the driver of the vehicle fled. As police pursued the fleeing Mercedes, it struck another vehicle near 1st Avenue and 3rd Street. Rock Falls officers spotted the Mercedes headed south on 12th, continuing east on Route 30 where it eventually hit another vehicle and then collided head-on with O’Neal's pick-up truck. O’Neal was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
