61-Year-Old Danny Hand Killed In Fort Myers, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on July 30th in Fort Myers, Florida. 61-year-old Danny Hand was tragically killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run motorist near Highland Avenue and Thomas Street. Sadly, Hand died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver involved fled the scene and remains at large. Police believe the vehicle is a 2013-2018 white Toyota Avalon with damage to the passenger side. Authorities urge anyone with information about the incident or location of the vehicle to contact them at 239-321-7700 or 1-800-780-TIPS.
