61-Year-Old Juan Vasquez Killed In El Paso, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on June 5th in El Paso, Texas.  61-year-old Juan Vasquez lost his life in a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident along Copia Street. Juan Vasquez was operating a 2014 Hyundai Elantra when a northbound 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck struck the back side of the Hyundai. After impact, the Hyundai traveled up a curb and the Chevrolet careened off the road and struck a rock wall. Vasquez was fatally injured and tragically declared dead at the site of the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet fled the scene and remains at large. Authorities continue to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
