61-Year-Old Nelson Hoover Killed In Stafford, NJ AccidentThe crash remains under investigationPosted: 2 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on May 2nd in Stafford, New Jersey. 61-year-old Nelson Hoover was killed by a car that struck him while he was riding a bicycle on Route 72. Hoover was bicycling on the westbound side near the entrance to the Garden State Parkway when a Jeep began transitioning into the far right lane to access the north ramp of the Parkway, and collided with the bicyclist. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at Southern Ocean Medical Center. The Stafford Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating this tragic incident.
