62-Year-Old Edwin Rogers Killed In Athens, TX Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, March 18 in Athens, Texas. 62-year-old Edwin Rogers was tragically killed when his motorcycle was struck by a pick up truck on FM 59. 29-year-old Clayton Bekker was attempting to turn onto the entrance ramp of SL 7 when he ended up in front of the motorcycle, which hit the back passenger side of the truck. Sadly, Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
