64-Year-Old Tong Le Killed In E. Hartford, CT Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, December 9th at around 2:30 AM in East Hartford, Connecticut. 64-year-old Tong Le was tragically killed after being struck by a vehicle in the area of School and Park Streets. Officers with the police and fire departments were called to the area, and upon arrival they found the victim, lying unresponsive and injured in the roadway.  Le was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead. Reports say the truck driver initially left the scene but later contacted the police and is now cooperating with the investigation. No arrests have been made at this point.
