65-Year-Old Steve Leaprotte Killed In Augusta, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, April 3 at around 5:51 PM in Augusta, Georgia. 65-year-old Steve Leaprotte was tragically killed in a solo vehicle crash in the 2200 block of Plantation Road. Steve was the passenger in a vehicle that lost control and crashed into a tree. He was sadly pronounced dead about an hour after the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Richmond County Sheriffs Office. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim
