65-Year-Old William Dixon Jr. Killed In Abilene, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 8th in Abilene, Texas. 65-year-old William Dixon Jr. lost his life after his pickup truck was hit by a tractor-trailer along Interstate 20. A 2014 Freightliner tractor-trailer, driven by Freddie Brown Jr. was traveling west when the semi left the roadway and crossed the center median into oncoming eastbound traffic. The semi struck a 2018 GMC pickup truck driven by  Dixon Junior. Dixon, and his passenger were both pronounced deceased at the scene by the Justice of the Peace. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
