67-Year-Old Emma Brooks Killed In Beaumont, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 11th in Beaumont, Texas. 67-year-old Emma Brooks lost her life in a collision with a jackknifed tractor-trailer along Interstate 10. According to an initial investigation, the driver of an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer lost control and the front of the truck jumped the concrete divider. A Cadillac Escalade, driven by Emma Brooks crashed into the cab of the truck and then struck an SUV. Brooks was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Occupants of the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The crash remains under investigation by Beaumont police.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
