67-Year-Old Joe Miller Killed In Palestine, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 21st in Palestine, Texas. 67-year-old Joe Miller was tragically killed when their vehicle was struck by a pickup truck trying to pass a minivan on State Highway 19 near Palestine. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fateful crash occurred at about 2:00 p.m. when a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck attempted to pass a Dodge Caravan traveling in the same direction. The pickup struck the northbound Subaru Outback that Mr. Miller was traveling head-on. The victim was tragically pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation.
