67-Year-Old Jose Rangel Killed In Los Angeles, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday February 17th in Los Angeles, California. 67-year-old Jose Rangel was fatally struck by a person accused of stealing an Amazon truck in the area of 4100 block of Woodlawn. 37-year-old Cristian Sanchez started the engine and drove away from the area when he lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle, triggering a collision. Sanchez then traveled onto the sidewalk, striking three men. Mr. Rangel was killed as a result of the crash. Sanchez tried fleeing the crash scene on foot, but he was pursued by community members who also notified police. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony hit and run.
