Bridget Urman turned left from 143rd Street South onto the highway and was T-boned by the first vehicle. That driver fled from the scene on foot. Urman was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to injuries. Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies later found the man. He faces possible charges of vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run. He also was suspected of driving under the influence. The accident remains under investigation.
