68-Year-Old Karla Ward Killed In Lakeland, FL Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, February 10 at around 12:40 PM in Lakeland, Florida. 68-year-old Karla Ward was tragically killed in a head on collision on Main Street. Ms. Ward was westbound near Fairway Avenue when a Ford Explorer crossed into the westbound lane striking the left front corner of Ms. Ward‘s vehicle. The victim was trapped inside of her vehicle, and sadly died as rescuers tried to save her. The driver of the Ford has been identified as 44-year-old Jason Howell. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
