Chahary was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Higgins Airport Way. 25-year-old Justin W. Friedrich was traveling southbound when his vehicle drifted over the centerline and struck a northbound traveling commercial truck. Chahary, the driver of the truck, was injured and transported to Skagit Valley Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Friedrich was killed in the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
