70-Year-Old Robert Blanchard Injured In Blyn, WA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, May 8 at around 5:22 PM in Blyn, Washington. 70-year-old Robert Blanchard was seriously injured when he was involved in a collision with a vehicle that failed to yield the right of way on Highway 101. 35-year-old Melissa Clayton was charged with failure to yield, failure to wear a seatbelt, and third degree driving with a suspended license. Blanchard was rushed to Olympic Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
