72-Year-Old John McCandlish Killed In Lafayette Township, OH Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 23 in Lafayette Township, Ohio. 72-year-old John McCandlish died when a motorcyclist struck the bicycle he was riding on State Route 162 in Buckeye Woods Park. He was hit by a 2020 Yamaha YZR-R3 motorcycle while crossing State Route 162. Sadly, McCandlish succumbed to his injuries at the site of the crash. An investigation into the incident is underway. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
