74-Year-Old Dickie Jones Killed In Big Spring, TX Accident

Wrong way wreck along I-20

Tragic accident that occurred on February 8th in Big Spring, Texas. 74-year-old Dickie Jones lost his life as the result of a wrong-way crash along the Interstate 20 south service road. Troopers said Jones was in a vehicle traveling east when another Big Spring resident, 47-year-old Juan Gabriel Moran, was westbound on the service road. That is when Moran collided with Jones' vehicle. The report said Moran's vehicle was traveling on the wrong side of the road. Jones was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Moran was taken to Scenic Mountain Center in Big Spring for treatment and then released. No additional information was immediately available.
