79-Year-Old Eddie Alverson Killed In Greenville, SC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on July 26 in Greenville, South Carolina. 79-year-old Eddie F. Alverson lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident while stopped in a 2002 Dodge pickup truck at a stop sign on Old Hundred Road. A Sterling tractor-trailer was heading east on Reedy Fork Road when the Dodge entered the roadway and collided with the big rig. As a result, the truck and the trailer went off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. This is an active investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
