83-Year-Old John Francis Wilson Jr. Killed In Ocean City, NJ Accident

Wreck in the 700 block of Asbury Avenue

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, January 13th in Ocean City, New Jersey. 83-year-old John Francis Wilson Jr. was tragically struck and killed by a 2013 Ford Explorer driven by 33-year-old Douglas Montealegre. Initial investigation showed that Wilson was walking out from between two parked cars in the 700 block of Asbury Avenue when he was struck by the vehicle traveling north. Wilson suffered head trauma as a result of the crash, and he was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus where he tragically later died.  Montealegre was taken into custody and charged with operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended.
