84-Year-Old Harold Henry Welter Killed In Saint Michael, MN Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, December 23rd in Saint Michael, Minnesota. 84-year-old Harold Henry Welter was tragically killed after being struck by a Wright County Sheriff's Office vehicle responding to a medical emergency. Preliminary info is that a 2018 Ford Explorer struck Harold Henry Welter in a driveway in the 400 block of Main Street North. Welter was transported to Maple Grove emergency room, where he tragically later died. The roads were snowy and icy at the time of the accident, which the State Patrol is investigating.
