85-Year-Old David Reardon Killed In Greenwood, SC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 9 in Greenwood, South Carolina. 85-year-old David Rearden died in a multi-vehicle accident when a Dodge Ram pickup truck was attempting to evade authorities and collided with a westbound Jeep and a Lincoln along Laurel Avenue.  The driver of the Lincoln, identified as 85-year-old Rearden, was rushed to Self-Regional Medical Center, where he sadly succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. SCHP continues to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
