The tragic accident occurred on March 24 in Houston, Texas, taking the life of 9-year-old DJ Munive in a heartbreaking wrong-way crash on Interstate 45 near Allen Parkway just after midnight. Officials report that the young child was in a vehicle struck head-on by a suspected drunk driver traveling the wrong way. The crash resulted in the loss of two family members and left two others critically injured. The driver responsible is now facing multiple charges, including intoxication manslaughter.
