Ayden Valdez died in a single-vehicle crash along Holdsworth Drive, when a 2007 BMW was traveling east, left the roadway, overturned and crashed into a tree. Kerrville officers and personnel from Kerrville Fire EMS arrived on the scene and immediately began rendering aid. Three passengers, two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old, all from Kerrville, were transported to Peterson Regional Medical Center, where two were treated and released. The third passenger was later transported to University Hospital via ambulance for further medical evaluation and treatment. The fourth passenger, identified as 15-year-old Ayden Elyse Valdez, was pronounced dead at the scene. Kerrville Police are investigating the cause of this crash.
