Boris Katz Killed In Parkland, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 1 in Parkland, Florida. 65-year-old motorcycle driver Boris Katz was riding his 2015 BMW K1300 motorcycle when a collision happened with a 2023 BMW X5 SUV. Authorities report that the SUV driver was attempting to make a turn onto Parkside Drive when he entered the path of the motorcycle. Katz was transported to Broward Health North, where he was later pronounced deceased. Preliminary investigations indicate that excessive speed is not believed to have been a factor in the incident. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
