Tragic accident that occurred on June 6 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A bicyclist was injured when they were struck by a hit-and-run motorist at West Franklin and Kenan streets. A Honda Pilot was heading eastbound when the driver attempted to turn and collided with a bicyclist. The bicyclist was taken to UNC Hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Honda, identified as 26-year-old Brianna Nicole Beasley, fled the scene and remains at large. Authorities encourage anyone with information to call them directly at 919-968-2760 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
